"The Ramen Girl" released anywhere?

I came across this while looking around for ramen recipes a while back...

Does anyone know when/if this has ever been released? Anywhere?

It looks to me like a good indie-flick. But as of yet the distributor has yet to set a release date as far as i know of...

any info would be greatly appreciated.


Also, what do u think? Look like it'd be worth watching?

All I know is that it was released in Japan in January 17, 2009. And it hasn't been released in USA because no one would distribute it.
I hope some one in Japan would release a cam version of this movie as I would like to see it also.

WTF, no US release???

They must have something against real ramen... (Its a conspiracy i tells ya)
They're afraid if Americans knew what real ramen tasted like they might demand it, and thusly put the instant ramen companies out of business overnight.



I guess i'll have to wait for some pirated copies of it to end up on the net b4 i can get it. Unless by some miracle its released on dvd region free...
